CURRENT ARCs — a callout post

Hello Darlings!

So, I think this will be a new monthly issue because I need to start holding myself accountable.

I have more ARCs than I can manage and I need to make myself LOOK AT THEM and maybe for someone to point a finger and shout ‘SHAME SHAME SHAME’ at me so I finally read them…

Anyway, here they are:

NetGalley

The Four Profound Weaves by R. B. Lemberg

The Complete Book of Textures for Artists by Denise J. Howard; Steven Pearce; Mia Tavonatti

The Extraordinaries by TJ Klune

The Scapegracers by Hannah Abigail Clarke

Queen of Coin and Whispers by Helen Corcoran

Drawing and Painting Botanicals for Artists by Karen Kluglein

The Dark Tide by Alicia Jasinska

EdelWeiss+

Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas

Lady Hotspur by Tessa Gratton

Docile by K.M. Szpara

Gideon the Ninth  by Tamsyn Muir

Others

In the Way of All Flesh by Caitlin Alise Donovan (Sapphic Book Club*)

Governor by Lesli Richardson (Romance Rehab)

Β

* I’m way more behind with Sapphic Book Club reads but let’s settle for posting only this month’s book

  • What ARCs do you need to catch up on?
  • Or maybe you don’t request ARCs at all?

  1. This post is me, I need to be held accountable as well πŸ˜‚ I adored “The Extraordinaries” by TJ Klune! “The Scapegracers”, “The Dark Tide”, “Docile”, “Queen of Coin and Whispers” and “Four Profound Weaves” are all on my ARC TBR too!

    1. Oooh! Want to buddy read any of those?? I need the motivation to start on my ARCs lol πŸ˜‚ I’ve been mostly going through Scribd audiobooks instead and I should read something finally… Glad you liked The Extraordinaries! Hope I’ll enjoy it the same πŸ™‚

  2. ah, I’m so excited to read The Dark Tide because of the f/f romance it promises πŸ₯Ί I’m also so jealous that you have an arc of Cemetery Boys, haha :”) But I’m also happy for you!! I hope you enjoy all of these books ❀

  3. I like to tell myself I have great restraint when it comes to requesting ARCs, which is true, but TBH I am also declined for most requests anyway πŸ˜‚ I have read and reviewed three ARCs that I requested this year, plus one that the publisher offered. So I am on track πŸ˜‰ I hope you enjoy each of these! I’ve been hearing a lot about Cemetery Boys lately…sounds like a good read.

    1. I like to tell myself that as well and mostly I am but then I will binge request a bunch of books and act surprised when they approve me πŸ˜‚ I have reviewed 9 ARCs this year, I think? Some of them were art books and manga though! Yes! Me too! I’m so excited to read this one ❀ Thank you for dropping by!

  4. Oh snap, I wish calling myself out would actually motivate me to get my shit sorted. I’ve been calling myself out for the total lack of reading over the last week and I’m still not reading πŸ˜‚ I’m terrified to look at my calendar and all the over/due eARCs and blog tour reads coming up πŸ™ƒ Welp… I’m excited to read quite a few of these on your list though. Esp Cemetery Boys 😍

    1. I mean, I haven’t started any of those since I posted that so I’m not sure that’s working but I tried? πŸ˜‚ I’m so behind with my eARCs but all I read are audiobooks and graphic novels on Scribd…
I’m excited for them as well! I just need to open the book actually! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
