How was your week? I feel like I mostly slept through mine… I’m half asleep while writing this to be honest. At least I managed to listen to some audiobooks because I’m so failing on reading this month

Great picks! My post hasn’t gone up yet but I also have Gilded Wolves on it 😀 It’s been on my TBR for way too long and I don’t know why I keep putting it off lol When We Were Magic looks so good 😀 Had no idea it was ensemble cast!

Thank you, Dini! The Gilded Wolves seemed to be a popular pick this week 😀 I think I’ve had it on my TBR since before it was released and it’s time to finally pick it up!! Haha, honestly it’s my hope and a shoot in the dark that it’s an ensemble cast — I mostly guessed for this prompt

When We Were Magic looks super cool! I really liked the group cast in the Percy Jackson books, which seems to get bigger and bigger with every new novel hahaha!

Oh, yeah! I loved PJ for that! It managed to handle so many characters without overwhelming the reader with this 3 is max body count rule!

So glad to see The Afterward here, it’s so great!! And I really want to read When We Were Magic too.
I think my favourite recent ensemble cast was Dangerous Remedy. But I also love The Poppy War series, the crew are amazing!

Well I’m failing on reading too this month 😂 Anyway, Lucky 7 sounds interesting!! I don’t know why but the cover gave like Ghost in the Shell kind of vibe to me somehow. And I see now Critical Role also has a comic form!!

The Gilded Wolves is so good and the next one in the trilogy (The Silvered Serpent – coming out next month) is even better. ❤️

Love this list! Gilded Wolves is on my list too – looks amazing, and I am trying to read it before the sequel comes out this year. If you want a “conventional” heist read, I highly recommend the Rogues of the Republic Trilogy by Patrick Weekes; similar to Six of Crows, but more High Fantasy, and (in my opinio) even better humor. Happy reading!

Wait… I need Rae D. Magdon’s Lucky 7 RIGHT NOW!! I’ve only read The Gilded Wolves and I love the reps! Not sure if I fully got the plot but its sequel is also pretty good. Chokshi left a pretty big cliffhanger so I’m really looking forward to reading the third book. Wonderful list, E.!
