Hello darlings!
So we’re the third day into April! That’s good, I guess? Anybody else is feeling like every month of this year drags more and more and yet there’s never enough time to accomplish what you set out for yourself? No? Only me?
Well, at least March was good for my reading and blogging so there’s that.Β

Types of reviews
I talked about reviews this month and they may be a bit forgotten in our community but they’re still essential to it.
What is your reviewing style? Everyone does it a bit differently but I noticed some trends!
SHIPS — essentials
And what about love?
What makes you ship characters? I put a list of things that get me all mushy for my OTPs so check it out and compare with your requirements!

Ugh, for my personal life — March sucked. I guess that will be a common theme here with what’s happening in the world…
In February, I enrolled for my driving course and I had a few lectures but then, of course, this whole madness happened. I’m not complainging that everything is closed down because it’s a wise decision but it still sucks that when I was finally getting my life together something had to come in the way.Β
And it’s also making my anxiety sky-rocket because 1. my father is a truck driver AND a chain smoker, and 2. my brother has a heart condition and recently got a pacemaker. I’m so scared for my family and everyone’s families!
Take care, stay at home if you can, and be as careful as possible. β€οΈ

Wow, you are way ahead of your challenge!! That’s amazing π
I totally get your anxiety. My mom and dad used to chainsmoke, and because of that they both have heart and lung issues. I also have a heartcondition, so I worry a lot about myself too. It is not an easy time at the moment.
Anyway! I really like your new meme and have participated in it π It also really helps clean up my TBR, because when I search for books to fit the prompt, I see books that I don’t want to read anymore. So it’s a win-win!

Thank you!! Yes, I think I may finish it this or next month!! π
Yep, it’s not an easy time but talking about it calms me a little. IDK what’s about putting your thoughts in sentences but it helps with not going into panic override. I hope you and your family stay safe! β€
Thank you!! I know, right? I did a big clean up a while ago but I still find so many books I just lost interest in! It's insane!

Looks like you had a really successful month with your reads! I really want to read Dark and Deepest Red, and The Night Circus.
I think lots of us had a rough month in our personal lives, I hope you can continue with your driving classes soon, and also that you and your family stay safe during this difficult timesπ

Yes, I really am on a roll! I loved Dark and Deepest Red — the atmosphere and the dual timeline were wonderful. Though I got more attached to the Strassburg PoV! The Night Circus was a bit underwhelming for me though π¦ I hope you’ll enjoy it more than I did!
Thank you! I hope you and your family stay safe as well β€ It's not easy but we'll hopefully make it through

Looks like you had a pretty fab month of reading, E! Those May Archer books have definitely caught my eye so I’ll definitely be checking them out! And I totally feel the same as you about The Night Circus (I mean in terms of rating LOL). It has definitely been a scary time for everyone in the world right now. I’m living with my nan who’s 90 and recovering from surgery and so I feel like I have to be super extra careful as well. Hope you and your family stay safe and well β€

Yes! I focused on fun and easy reads hence so much porn and romances π Definitely check them out! They lifted me up for sure π
Oh, The Night Circus had an amazing atmosphere but that was it for me? The rest seemed sadly underwhelming…
I hope you and your family stay safe as well, Dini! β€ It's not easy but the least we can do is lift each other spirits and keep hoping for the best β€ β€ β€

I really enjoyed The Night Circus, The Deep and The House in the Cerulean Sea! A lot of these are also on my TBR. I hope April is turning out to be a better month for you!π

Thank you π
Yes, April is much calmer. And I’m consciously trying to combat all the bad thoughts so hopefully it will stay that way.
